"Hi, I'm amelia. I became an advocate because I have always felt passionate about helping and supporting people from all different cultures and walks of life.
As advocates and peer support workers, we listen to people's issues and can help people with a whole range of issues. This can include things such as helping people to find information, to make complaints, or going to support people in appointments with WINZ, thier doctors, family members etc.
If anyone has an issue that they would like to talk to someone about, my collegue Paul and I would be happy to meet you."
